Very poor Not that bad Average Good Perfect   A review of Fortaleza

I have been living away from Fortaleza for almost 9 years know, but I'm still amazed by it's sunshine. It is known as "Terra da Luz" (Land of Light) in Portuguese for a good reason. Weather is almost always between 25 to 30 C degrees. Sun rises at 5.30 AM and goes down with a beautiful sea sunset around 6 PM pretty much all year long, since it is so close to the Equator line. It doesn't rain so often (watch out if you're going around March/April though). People are nice, the food is delicious and you'll love the beaches around, full of dunes and coconut trees. If you're into fresh sea food, that is the place. It is a must spot to visit if you're going to Brazil, especially if you're into kite and wind surfing.
