If you're about to navigate through the city with car and you don't speak Greek make sure to bring a 1) friend that knows his/her way around or 2) a Greek speaking friend or at least 3) a map with BOTH Greek and Latin characters. I always get lost in this city, driving on a good double lane street and before I know it end up in the smallest one-way alley in a queue, without any idea of where to continue.
Besides that I like Athens, although it's a bit hard to get around without any inside tips.
Dear Peter, always look on the bright side of life :) Athens provides you an unforgetable driving experience and helps you to find hidden places! Also helps you to get to know more people because when you are lost somewhere in Athens, you have to ask somebody who is passing by! Have a nice day..:)
