I have grown up in Summerville, and I've gotten to witness it changing throughout the years. Downtown Summerville still has the old town charm. If you are looking for a home cooked meal that your grandma used to make or that ice cream cone from the parlor, you'll find it at the Square downtown. There also is Azalea Park where the Flowertown Festival takes place every spring. It is a must see with fish ponds, flowers, and a tennis court too! Many people get married in the gazebo there. It's centrally located for day trips to Charleston, Savannah and Myrtle Beach. You'll always find a smile here!
There are plenty of restaurants and bars throughout, and you'll find karaoke every night of the week here.
There also are plenty of hiking, biking and boating opportunities close by. A well rounded place for any type of adventure seeker.
