Nesteled right in the middle of the Metro, Mandaluyong provides easy access to almost everywhere. Several major business districts are just within reach making travel to work a lot easier and faster!

There are also malls in every direction so shopping would never be an issue.

Schools and Colleges are also abundant in the city and you would never have to worry about the security of your kids because the city government is dedicated to keeping its status as the "Most Child Friendly City in the Highly Urbanized Category in the entire country!

The almost legendary Pasig River is the only thing that divides the city from the financial capital of the Philippines, Makati City and is connected by the famous "Guadalupe Bridge".

Legend has it that there was once a young man named Lupe who lives in the west side of the river and her beloved Guada who lives on the other side. Their love is forbidden since Guada has already been submitted to a fixed marriage by her parents.

There were still no bridges before and the only way that they see each other was by use of a small boat. The night that the two planned on eloping, Guada's parents discovered their little secret and put a hole on the boat so that it can never be used again.

Unaware of the danger that awaits her, Guade boarded the boat to go the other side.

Lupe was waiting on the other side and saw the slow and tragic event happening right infornt of him. Guada's boat was fast sinking and Lupe can do is scream the name of his beloved and Guada can only do the same thing. "Guada!" "Lupe!"

It is said that up until now you can still hear echoes of screams when you pass by the bridge.
