Palma, the capital of the Balearic Islands, is an awesome city where you will find a lot of things to do and places to visit. It is a city that complement perfectly the old bildings with the new ones. One of the best things about this city is that you can go anywhere just walking.
The old town, the "Lonja", The Bellver Castle, The Cathedral are just some of the places that you should visit while you enjoy the mediterranean weather, food, and way of life.
Lost in the small streets of the oldtown you will find some romanic and arabic contructions, lot of old mansions with a beautiful yards and little museums. If you walk through the oldtown you will also find in front of the see the big Cathedral. It is a Ghotic Cathedral with one of the largest rosettes in Europe.
In the top of a mountain, near the city center, there is a Medieval castel, called "Castillo de Bellver". Visting this castle you are going to enjoy stunning views of the city and the sea.
There is also a place near the sea called "El Molinar" with a lot of small houses in front of the coast, where all of the people use to go to take a bath or a drink while they enjoy a sunny day.
Palma also have a lot of things to do at the evening. If you want to dinner or drink during the evening you should visit an area called "La Lonja" where you will find a lot of typical Restaurants and bars with different kinds of life-music.
If you want to dance all night long you should go to the promenade, in front of the harbour where you will find a lot of discos, opened during all of the night.
