Thessaloniki's food
I lived in Thessaloniki for two years and I have to say that the city lives up to its reputation concerning the great food. In every corner of the city you will find a great bakery, the smell of which cannot be passed on, and in every street you will come across a nice (and not expensive) restaurant. The only tip that I can give you is to taste the delicacies of Thessaloniki's kitchen, but try to resist the temptation to eat all of them. From my personal experience, the need to taste it all will fully disappoint your weighing-machine.
