Ten years ago Mavili Square, on Vasilisis Sofias street, was the hot spot for every alternative hip youngster that wanted to meet up with people. During the summer, the square was full of big groups, who were just enjoying the companionship. At that time, it was a big mistake to leave the square before 3 o clock in the morning, because you would miss a lot of fun. Now, the new generation has already found other places to gather around and the rest of us that are approaching our thirties, we just go to Mavili Square to enjoy our drink. If Mavili is on your way, don't miss a cold red beer or a nice coctail at “Mpriki” bar and do not forget to taste the hotdog of one of the most famous canteens in Athens.
