  A review of Thessaloníki
by Chara S.

If you have a day free and its raining, take a walk at the port of Thessaloniki, where the old warehouses are seated. This part of the port belongs to the Thessaloniki Port Authority, but you can enter freely through the gate opposite Eleftherias Sq. The area gives you the opportunity to just wonder around or even to satisfy your art feelings, since it hosts two major museums of the city, The State Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Photography. Don't miss the chance to take a look at the exhibitions and when you're “full” of art, you can drink a coffee at the Cafe of The museum of Photography, which has a great view to the sea. Try to remember to bring a book with you, because you will certainly be in the mood for a good read.
