As a local it seems one has to tell good stories about your own city, but palma is without a doubt, the best city i lived in...
First of all the weather makes it a great location, with several sandy beaches located less than 30 min from the city center. and also well comunicated to the other nice spots of the island, such as the north mountain , the east caves and beaches etc.. makes palma a great destination if you just want to chill out at the beach.
Palma, though, has much more to ofer, it's beautifull architecture and cultural offer, makes it one of the nicest cities in the mediterranean. with the amazing gothic cathedral as the main example. getting lost in the "casco antiguo" and seeing all those "patios" and beautyful houses, makes you feel like you are back in time. after all we are a mix of diferent cultures, and you can see that in the different main buildings, the castle, the city wall, the"lonja" etc
so if you want a wide range of posibilitys in your hollidays, mallorca, and palma it's your place. see you arround!
