  A review of Budapest

Budapest is the capital of Hungary, and it is mainly identified by its river, the Danube, that divides the town into to parts: Buda and Pest.

All along the river side, the buildings have an authentic style, which gives you a spectacular view looking from a bridge or a boat on the river. One of these imposant spots is the Parlament, which is honestly the nicest building I ever saw!

Another must-see place is the castle, on the top of the mountain next to the Danube. You cannot miss it, just catches your eyes with its white stones, even more amazing from inside, than from outside.

My experience is that the air in the town is in general less polluted than in other capitals, and it is probably because of the presence of the river.

The public transportation is very well organized: you have basicly two metro lines, the red and the blue one, and buses are going everywhere in the city, even at night. Tickets are cheap, but it's strongly recommended to buy them, as they can be checked anytime and if you are caught without ticket, you have to pay pretty big amounts of money, that you probably don't want.

Night life is very active, especially in summer. Plenty of clubs, night clubs, bars, small open theaters, a huge variety of programs for young people. The entry in these places is usually free, and the drinks are very cheap, compared to other European capitals.

All together if you go to Budapest, it is granted that you will have an amazing time! Not only because it's a beautiful city, with its authentic buildings, and its blue Danube, but also because of its dynamic life style, which just gets you invovlved within a second.
