Flying into Sydney- probably the most beautiful view you could get from an airplane window! First of all its going to hurt your wallet, BIG time. If you can deal with that, and try to work around it (which is possible) then there are some cool things to see and do here. Although mostly, the thing I love about Sydney is the vibe- fun, casual, sunny (and if the rest of Australia is to be listened to- a little up itself..but there are definately reasons for this he he he). People watching, like in any place is fun to do here. You have the Blue Mountains, the bounitful beaches and surf, cool night spots, good food and several awesome little hideaways. This city is built up and if your looking for ROGUE travel, it shouldn't be at the top of the list, but if you are willing to look- there is plenty of magic in Sydney. :)
