A unique country
As far as I know, this must be the only country in the world where you enter the country through crossing the air port landing strip by foot or driving a car or motorcycle. The rest of Gibraltar is what you can expect from a mediterranean small city - plenty of tourist shops, lovely small marinas, nice restaurants as well as English pubs and some tourist attractions such as The Upper rock, dolphin adventures and a hanful historical monuments and sites. No wonder it it so popular for cruise passengers - it's a perfect one day stop. But don't schedule a week's stay here - you will most probaly get bored.
