  A review of Athens
by IRENE ALEVIZAKI

I live in the south suburbs of Athens, which means that having the sea so close to me makes my spirit and body travel... This is also the reason why I chose to work in the past for the hotel industry. As a buyer for a hotel chain I had the opportunity to travel abroad in order to find the best deals for my company. I have stayed in some very good hotels and in some not so good, after a while your eye catches even the smaller detail.

Getting to know new places, cultures and people really opens your mind, but its always good to get back to your base where everything feels comfortable and familiar. Here you have the sea, the sun (most of the time), many choices for nightlife and easy accessibility to the center for a cultural experience. If you want a place that combines everything or you are just a bit indecisive...this is the one!
