A review of Athens

Athens, Greece is an incredible city filled with amazing joyful energy. While the city itself is not an architectural beauty, its all about its energy and its people. Shopping is lots of fun on Ermou St. which is just directly infront of the parliament house and it extends down towards Monastiraki and the older shopping district. One can enjoy wonderful food, great people, and of course amazing history. The real fun is had outside of Athens in the coastal cities where the nightlife is amazing. Many beach front lounges and restaurants in Glyfada, and Pireus, as well as Voula. My advice is to make friends with some Greek locals and go for the real experience. Bouzukia, beach, dining, and shopping! Once you are done with that (a few nights) head out to the islands like Mykonos, Crete, Santorini, Paros, etc. ALL AMAZING!
