I've been told that the Moorish people were the "first" to inhabit Gibraltar which makes the Moorish castle a very important piece of Gib's history. You can still see many marks from times of war in the walls of the tower of Homage - many hundred years old.



Inside the tower you will see images and scetches of how it probably looked when it was built. The stairs lead all the way to the roof and the view is over the town is very beautiful.
