It is the border that connects two totally different areas: the wealthy, dominant North America and the rebellious South America. The countries in Central America reflect the diversity of being at a crossroad, the mix of different mentalities, and the multi cultural environment. From the 70’s until the 90’s, many of these countries were tangled in civil wars, making the area a hot spot of global controversy. Now, most of these conflicts belong to the past, although the standard of living is quite low in many areas. The reason to visit is that, to most, even passionate travelers, the countries of Central America, remain a puzzle to be solved, a mystery to be unlocked, a secret to be unveiled.
