Berghain

Berghain is one of the most famous and renowned clubs in the whole of Germany, as well as Berlin. It's reputation attracts visitors from far outside the city, who have the interest of having a good time and a memorable experience.

Berghain is notorious for it's strict door policy and rigid bouncers. It's advisable to get  a ticket in advance if possible just to guarantee that there should not be any disappointment.

Inside the club, Berghain is certainly a unique and special venue, and lives up to expectations. Once one has reached the arena itself, you begin to understand why the place is so hyped about. The floor is vast, and the ceiling is very high up, making for perfect, atmospheric, and intense live performances.

Above all, Berghain is an experience. It goes beyond the general nightlife in any large city, and Berlin for that matter, but there is a true sense that a building and venue as grand as this could only, and should only be in Berlin. It is a lasting symbol of the reunification of the once divided city, and the underground techno movement that swept through the city in the early 1990s.
