Perhentian Kecil Island in Kota Baharu, Malaysia

Perhential Kecil (which means small) together with Perhentian Besar (which means big) form the Perhentian Islands which are located 19 km northeast of the Malaysian shore. The island is not habitated but it has wonderful unspoilt beaches. It takes less than an hour on boat to reach the island from mainland Malaysia (Kuala Besut and Tok Bali are the starting points of the boats.
