The island of the calm!

Palma, Spain

I am Mallorcan and I´m living in Palma, the capital of the Balearic island. All of you know the tourism massive that there are, but the island has a very beatiful places with interesant history and fantastics legends. Nowadays the tourist enjoy the natural places, as the Serra de Tramuntana, recently listed in the Natural Heritage of Humanity, and the cycling has an important significance. The weather is very nice, but isn´t the Caribean, every Winter it snow in January or february, and the residents become in a happy comunity and colapsing the small roads of the Serra de Tramuntana, but everybody enjoy the white landscape. This is muy little resume of the island of the Calm.
