If you are looking for a quiet and quaint area to travel to during summer Lake Vermillion is an exceptional place. Vermillion is in northern Minnesota, and is a quiet lake compared to others in the Brainard area or down closer to the Metropolitan area. Renting a house on this lake for a week, or even weekend is a great way to get away.
