I have been to Monterrey twice now in 1 year and each time i have been there i have loved it even more , the people are all friendly and happy to help you with any needs you have. in the centre of monterrey there are many shops to cater for all your needs from retail shops to souvenir shops that will sell many mexican things which are all sold at very good prices and i myself have bought many things from there which i and my family and friends have loved, the food you can get there is a mix mexican and of course the ever so present Mcdonalds KFC and Burger king.
Not far from the town centre is an amazing museum that was once home to the founder on Nuevo Leon in Mexico and has a lot if history about the mexican revlution that i found very interesting and is also free to enter. one of my favourite places to vist there and a place i have spent many an evening is the Santa Lucia Riverwalk which is a long man made river that snakes through downtown monterrey and offers walkers great views the mountains especially Cerro de la Silla which is monterreys saddle shaped mountain
