Momart- the best EAt All you CAN in ROme
Rome and italy in general is famous for good food. it is one of the reason why many demanding tourists are coming in search of the real italian pasta and pizza. In the last years, the eat all you can solutions have revolutionized this situation. More and more restaurants are offering different fixed menus and even an Eat-all-you-can solution. Basically, in the city center you will never eat less than 25euros per person for a normal 4-course meal. Each and everyone of the restaurants around the very center of Rome (though very few has really good food) had built their efficient tourists traps- PAY MORE, EAT LESS..and BAD!
The best way to avoid these traps is to go a little outside the marvelous walls of Rome and step a little farther from the usual busy, tourists-packed area. On the north-eastern part of the city, a few walks from the Bologna (Line B Station) there is the MOMART restaurant. It is very unique and sober place because of its paintings exposition which is replaced periodically by new emerging artists.. But the real deal here is they offer an Aperitif menu where in you'll pay only 10EUROS for everything you can eat. Well, if we talk about aperitifs, then we might think of small portions, and no-big-deal dishes. On MOMART, forget about it! Their buffet service offers everyone a complete meal, from first to main courses and a variety of desserts. You will have a variety of pizza and pasta to choose from for a good first course, an appetizers of cheese and traditional italian hams and sausages while a guaranteed two or three main courses are served every time. If it's not enough then try their chocolate and fruit cakes, creme caramel and macedonia fruits for desserts before ending your meal with a cup of italian brewed coffee. Everything for 10E, drinks included!!!! Though they call this Aperitif, the usual buffet service is open in lunch from monday to friday wherein you can directly dine without queueing otherwise you should try your luck during dinner time and wait patiently together with hundreds of italians who already knew how good this restaurant is!
