Top five things to see and do in Budapest, Hungary

When I'm travelling I find important to get to know the culture, the kitchen and the location during the trip. My country is very colorful in every of these cases so if I had a top 5 list of things are worth to see or do, it would be the following one:

Thermal Bath

Visiting a thermal bath to refresh ourselves with Hungary’s (medical) waters and enjoy the pampering of the Hungarian hospitality.

Gulash Soup

Having a delicious meal in one of the best restaurants to taste the masterpieces of the Hungarian kitchen (including our national food, the gulyás soup and the famous hortobágyi panacake with meat).

Shopping in Vaci Utca

Taking a walk on the main shopping street of the capital (called as Váci utca) where we find everything for a good shopping atmosphere (palaces, souvenir shops, attractive town houses, exclusive cafés and high-class restaurants).

Buda Castle

Visiting the Castle of Buda, which takes part of our medieval history. This place gives a more possibilities to get familiar with the hungarian history and culture.

Danube by night

Taking a guide tour by night (on the river Danube or on the streets by bus) and experiencing that our capital never sleeps. It’s an exciting city which offers a lot of possibilities to have a good time there for everyone who visit it.
