Top five things to see and do in New York City, USA

Try thai food

Benny's Thai Restaurant is nestled under the bustle of Fulton street. Although hidden on the basement level, Benny's Thai offers authentic and delicious meals at very affordable prices. Avoid the lunch rush of Wall-streeters from noon to 1:30. (On the corner of Fulton street and Gold Street in the financial district).

All day hang out

Rockinhorse Café has everything, from the Chelsea regulars and yummy modern mexican food, to a dozen or more delicious flavors of margaritas. Try the blood orange! (19th street and 8th Avenue).

Jazzin'

If you enjoy a live jam session of authentic jazz St. Nick's Pub on a Sunday night is the perfect way to enjoy the sounds of old Harlem. Saturday nights are also lively (and crowded) but the Senegalese band plays fun African beats. (149th street and St. Nicholas Avenue).

Taste different beers

Enjoy a cold brew? Vol de Nuit  is a comfortable place for social adventures. They offer strictly Belgian beer at their two bars on two floors, but the list is a long one. Outside courtyard is perfect for summer gatherings. (West 4th Street and 6th Avenue).

Yo hip hop!

Madame X is a village favorite for hip-hop lovers. $5 cover for a live DJ that spins the old-school goodies. Weekend nights never fail but Thursday nights are the best. (Housten Street between Thompson street and Laguardia Place)
