Top five things to see and do in Boulder, USA
Take a hike
Explore the natural beauty of Boulder by hiking one of the many trails this outdoor enthusiast’s paradise has to offer. Try any trail starting at Chautauqua Park, or Mount Sanitas, a moderate challenging trail that’s also dog-friendly. For a longer and more challenging hike, try Bear Peak or South Boulder Peak-the spectacular views at the top are well worth the effort.
Visit the Farmer's Market
Indulge, locally. Boulder’s Farmer’s Market offers locally-grown fruit, vegetables, meats, cheese, vines, plants and flowers, as well as scores of artisan goodies. Find it next to Central Park on 13th St. between Canyon Boulevard and Arapahoe Avenue. Sat. 8 a.m.- 2 p.m., April 4-Nov. 7; Wed. 4 p.m.-8 p.m. May 6-Oct 7.
Get into your artsy side
The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art showcases art from local, national and international artists, and also hosts theater, music and dance performances. Check out current exhibits and performances at bmoca.org. 1750 13th St.
Sip an exotic drink
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, 1770 13th St., is the best place to get an afternoon yerbá mate, or a delicious tea from their extensive menu. The hand-carved and hand-painted ceiling and the brightly-colored tiles were gifts from Boulder’s sister city, Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Gaze at the stars
The University of Colorado’s Fiske Planetarium offers star shows and laser shows, with captivating themes like “Cosmic Collision” and “Odyssey of the Stars.” Twice a month the laser shows go psychedelic, accompanied by music by artists such as Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

Great tips. I can't say I knew too much about Boulder before but it sounds like a nice place!
