Egypt is an arab country located in the middle east and north africa. It divides into two parts, the ancient Egypt which contains all the old civilisation full of ancient places ( like the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, and Luxor and Awan). The second part of Egypt is the new version which has high technology, good progress in economics and education, and new young generation.

Cairo is the capital of Egypt now. Many years ago Alexiandra was the capital but for some political reasons it changed to Cairo. Whatever both of the two cities are beautiful and charming.

Cairo is famous because of The Pyramids, the Egyptian museum and Khan Al Khalili.

The Egyptian Museum is very impressive with its incredible king Tutankamun treasures. The government is building a new museum that will be close to the pyramids and supposedly will be finished in 2011

Khan Al Khalili is an old place Full of ancient Restaurants and cafés.People always go there to enjoy the oriental spirit and to eat especially in Ramadan.

Cairo is full of people and the traffic can be really bad and it drives me mad sometimes, but I still love it so much. It is my beautiful city which carries all my history.
