Senaatintori , The Senate Square
Here is where the remarkable neo-classically designed palace of the Senate can be found. Designed by architect Carl L. Engel, the white palace illuminates in the night sky. In the middle of the square stands the statue of the Emperor Alexander II.
Soumenlinna, The 18th Century Sea Fortress
Built in the 1700’s to protect Helsinki and Finland against possible Russian attacks, the fortress known as Suomenlinna attracts many locals and tourists all year round with it's many museums, parks, gardens and cafes.

With around 40 rides and all the traditional theme park fun Linnanmäki attracts over one million guests each year. A key attraction is the rollercoaster which offers spectacular views of Helsinki.

Designed by Finland's most famed architect, Alvar Aalto, Finlandia Hall is known worldwide for it's concerts and congressions. The design is not only specatcular but optimizes the quality of sound heard in a concertwith it's inclining roof.

I've only been in Helsinki for a day but I saw the fortress, it was impressive!
