A packed day in Miami!
If you only have 1 day in Miami, I’d recommend you to spend it in South Beach. This hot, trendy area is what most people envision when they think of Miami. It really is a one-of-a-kind place, different from anywhere else in the world, and different from the rest of Miami.
You should start with breakfast at Front Porch Cafe. They have one of the best breakfasts in all of Miami, and the waterfront location is very beautiful. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a celebrity there. Next, spend a while sunbathing or taking in the sights along Ocean Drive. This strip stretches from 5th street to 14th street, and is the epicenter of South Beach. Alternatively, you can take a tour of the Art Deco Historic District. Visit the Art Deco Welcome Center at 1001 Ocean Drive. Their walking tours are offered most days at 10:30 am.
In the afternoon, spend some time exploring Lincoln Road Mall. This street is full of cafes, restaurants, and people-watching. For lunch, try the fusion cuisine at Balans or the best pizza in Miami at Spris.
If you still have a few hours left, it is time for some South Beach shopping. There are plenty of designer fashions, art galleries, and other shopping to be found along Collins Avenue, Washington Avenue, Lincoln Road, and Espanola Way.
Time for dinner? There are many world-class restaurants in South Beach, populated by models, celebrities, and other beautiful people. Try the steaks at Prime One Twelve, Peruvian-influenced Japanese at Nobu, or the eclectic French-Tropical cuisine at Blue Door. For any of these, make reservations well ahead of time.
For drinks and true SoBe ambiance, check out Skybar or the more casual Wet Willie’s. If you are up for a wild dance party, you will find it at Opium Garden or Nikki Beach.

Sounds like a really packed day but great tips!
